Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has unveiled the full cast for its highly anticipated revival of Lerner and Loewe's classic musical, Brigadoon. This production marks the show's return to a major London stage for the first time in over 35 years. The show, which runs from August 2 to September 20, 2025, will be led by director and choreographer Drew McOnie, in his debut season as the theatre's Artistic Director.
Leading the cast are Louis Gaunt as Tommy Albright and Danielle Fiamanya, sharing the role of Fiona MacLaren with Georgina Onuorah. The ensemble features a mix of seasoned performers and new talent, including Jasmine Jules Andrews (Jean MacLaren), Cavan Clarke (Jeff Douglas), and Nic Myers (Meg Brockie). The cast list also includes Norman Bowman as Archie Beaton, Danny Nattrass as Harry Beaton, and newcomer Gilli Jones in her professional stage debut as Charlie Dalrymple.
McOnie expressed his excitement about the production, stating, "I'm thrilled to be directing this brilliant cast... I can't wait to work with this talented group of artists to bring Brigadoon back to the London stage... transporting audiences from Regent's Park to the Scottish Highlands."
This revival features a new adaptation by acclaimed Scottish playwright Rona Munro, known for her work on The James Plays and Doctor Who. The creative team includes Laura Bangay (Musical Director), Basia Binkowska (Set Designer), and Jessica Hung Han Yun (Lighting Designer).
Brigadoon tells the enchanting story of two American tourists who stumble upon a mysterious Scottish village that appears for only one day every hundred years. With iconic songs like "Almost Like Being in Love," the musical promises to be a magical theatrical experience under the open sky.
