London is set to step back into the magical world of Narnia this summer as the acclaimed production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe returns to the capital for a limited engagement at Sadler’s Wells. The show, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of C.S. Lewis’s beloved novel, will run from August 20 to September 7, 2025, with a press night on Thursday, August 31.

Fresh from a successful UK and Ireland tour, this stunning adaptation is making its London comeback even more special by participating in The Society of London Theatre’s popular Kids Week initiative. This means over 6,000 half-price tickets are available, allowing one child aged 17 and under to attend for free with a full-paying adult, and two additional children at half price for selected performances.

The stellar cast features Katy Stephens as the formidable White Witch and Mrs. Macready. Stephens brings extensive stage experience to the role, including leading performances at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she is an Associate Artist and part of the Olivier Award-winning ensemble for the RSC's Histories Cycle. The iconic Pevensie children are played by Joanna Adaran (Susan), Jesse Dunbar (Peter), Kudzai Mangombe (Lucy), and Bunmi Osadolor (Edmund), with Stanton Wright as Aslan.

Producer Chris Harper expressed his delight, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome children and adults alike on this spectacular journey through the wardrobe, and are proud to be marking the 75th anniversary of the publication of C.S. Lewis’ novel with this production." Director Michael Fentiman added that the show "celebrates the magic of live theatre and is led by a multi-talented cast of actors, singers, musicians, dancers and puppeteers."

Don't miss the chance to witness the enchanting transformation of wartime Britain into a frozen, faraway land filled with fauns, talking beavers, and the noble Aslan, as this beloved story leaps from page to stage.
