The Bush Theatre has announced further details of three compelling upcoming productions, showcasing some of the UK's most exciting new writing while reinforcing its dedication to community engagement and talent development. These plays form part of the final season programmed by outgoing Artistic Director and CEO, Lynette Linton, ahead of incoming Artistic Director and Co-CEO Taio Lawson's first season announcement in early 2026.

The theatre’s main house, the Holloway Theatre, will host the fifth season of shows by the Bush Young Company (BYC), directed by the Bush’s new Associate Director, Katie Greenall. The 14-17 BYC will present PAUSE/REWIND (8-9 August), a co-created exploration of memory and growing up. Following this, the 18-25 BYC stages the world premiere of MAKE ME FEEL (19-23 August), a new play by Bush Writers’ Group alumnus Will Jackson (known for Clutch). Directed by Katie Greenall, this "hilarious and heartfelt" piece delves into themes of love, expectation, and seeking help.

The season culminates with After Sunday (10 November - 20 December), a co-production with Belgrade Theatre Coventry. Written by Bush Writers’ Group alumna Sophia Griffin and directed by Belgrade Theatre Artistic Director Corey Campbell, this debut play, featuring live cooking on stage, offers a searing look into lives within a secure hospital setting. Katie Greenall emphasized the importance of collaborations like this, stating, "Partnering with new venues is vital for the theatre ecology, ensuring that our resources and opportunities are as far-reaching as possible."

In a move to increase accessibility, the Bush Theatre has updated its pricing structure, releasing more £15 tickets than ever before and setting all concession rates at £5. Furthermore, the theatre continues its vital support for emerging talent through the biannual Bloom Bursary, a £750 award with mentorship for outgoing BYC members, funded by John Lyon’s Charity. This season promises to be a vibrant testament to the Bush Theatre's enduring commitment to groundbreaking new work and nurturing the next generation of theatrical voices.
