London is set to be transported back to the fabulous 1950s this summer as Secret Cinema unveils its highly anticipated GREASE: The Immersive Movie Musical. From Friday 1 August to Sunday 7 September 2025, Evolution London in Battersea Park will be transformed into the iconic Rydell High, offering audiences an unprecedented opportunity to step directly into the beloved film.
This innovative new production, presented in partnership with TodayTix, promises a two-and-a-half-hour spectacular that blurs the lines between screen and reality. For the first time, the entire film will be brought to life all around the audience, with a 30-strong cast and live band seamlessly blending with on-screen action. Fans can expect dazzling live performances of all the hit songs, including 'You’re The One That I Want', 'Greased Lightnin’', and 'Summer Nights'.
Initial casting has been announced, with Stephanie Costi taking on the role of Sandy, Liam Buckland as Kenickie, and Lucy Penrose as Rizzo, promising dynamic performances from a talented ensemble. Audiences will have the chance to roam legendary locations brought to life with meticulous detail, including a full-scale outdoor fairground, the Frosty Palace, the Auto Shop, and the Beauty School.
The creative vision is spearheaded by a multi-award-winning team, including Director Matthew Costain and Set Designer Tom Rogers. Notably, celebrated choreographer Jennifer Weber, fresh from two Tony Award nominations for her work on & Juliet and KPOP, will fuse iconic Grease moves with contemporary hip-hop flair, guaranteeing an exhilarating experience.
Tickets are available with a new tiered structure: General Admission (Free Roam) from £49, VIP Seated (Roam and Return) from £79, and Premium Immersive (Join the Cast) from £149, the latter offering the unique chance to learn choreography and join the cast during the show.
