Joey Contreras’ acclaimed contemporary musical In Pieces is set to make its highly anticipated world premiere at London’s The Other Palace in early 2027. Following a series of sold-out concert runs and an extraordinary digital journey, the production will run from February 6 to 14, 2027, with the first week of tickets now officially on sale.
This landmark engagement marks the first fully realised stage production of the show, which serves as a poignant love story about the people you don't end up with. Written and composed by Fred Ebb Award and Jonathan Larson Grant finalist Joey Contreras, the bold pop-driven score explores echoes of love, loss, and self-discovery. It weaves together the romantic journeys of six characters across three distinct chapters of life, prompting friends, families, and lovers to confront old wounds and unresolved feelings.
Martha Geelan returns to direct this inaugural full staging, leading a creative team that includes choreographer Sam Wilson Freeman, music supervisor and co-orchestrator Brian Russell Carey, and casting director Harry Blumenau. The production is brought to the stage by Andrew Patino and Jacob Stuckelman of Regular People alongside Rebecca Gwyther of RJG Productions.
In Pieces has cultivated a uniquely passionate global following prior to its mainstage debut. Its development path includes sold-out concerts in London and New York, a deluxe highlights album with Broadway Records that has surpassed 70 million streams, and a digital live-capture concert released across 151 countries with over 100,000 views.
Creator Joey Contreras expressed his excitement about reaching this major milestone, noting how the project has gone from strength to strength through the dedication of its creative teams and fans. Producers Andrew Patino and Rebecca Gwyther echoed this sentiment, celebrating the chance to finally invite audiences to experience the musical live on stage.
Performances will take place at The Other Palace, located at 12 Palace Street, London, SW1E 5JA. Further casting announcements will be revealed in due course.
