Monopoly Lifesized has announced it will officially close the doors of its flagship London location on 3 January 2027. Following a triumphant five-year residency on Tottenham Court Road, the immersive attractions staple invites game lovers, theater fans, and thrill-seekers for one final roll of the dice before its grand finale.
Since opening in August 2021, the venue has welcomed visitors for over 640,000 dice rolls and Hosted more than 20,000 individual games. Created by The Path Entertainment Group in partnership with Hasbro, the venue pioneered a dynamic blend of room-escape puzzles, theatrical storytelling, and hands-on gameplay across four giant board configurations: the classic board, the fast-paced Own It All edition, the neon-lit City Board, and the high-stakes Luxury Board.
The success of the flagship Tottenham Court Road venue spearheaded an impressive global expansion, with spin-off productions opening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, alongside a touring Travel Edition across the United States and Mexico. David Hutchinson, CEO of The Path Entertainment Group, noted that while the central London venue is shuttering for now, the overwhelming response ensures the door remains open for a future return to the capital as the brand expands into new international territories.
Visitors planning a festive outing can experience the attraction throughout the upcoming winter season. In addition to the interactive escape-style challenges, guests can enjoy thematic dining, bottomless brunches, and specialized cocktail masterclasses at the adjoining Top Hat Bar & Restaurant, as well as pick up exclusive gifts from the on-site retail shop.
Designed for players aged nine and up, Monopoly Lifesized will operate through 3 January 2027. Tickets start at £54 per person, with tailored family and corporate party packages available for the Christmas season. Fans are encouraged to book their final gameplay sessions early by visiting the official venue website at monopolylifesized.com.
