Production imagery has been released for the major UK and Ireland tour of Paranormal Activity, the hit stage adaptation inspired by the iconic Paramount Pictures horror film franchise.
Having launched its national tour at the Richmond Theatre earlier this month, the supernatural thriller is set to visit towns and cities across the UK and Ireland through June 2027. The production features a festive return to its original home at Leeds Playhouse this December, while simultaneously running in London's West End at the Ambassadors Theatre and playing a 20-week Broadway engagement at the August Wilson Theatre in New York.
Directed by Punchdrunk founder Felix Barrett and written by acclaimed playwright Levi Holloway (Grey House), the stage production introduces a brand-new narrative. The story follows James and Lou as they relocate from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to discover that haunting is tied to people rather than places.
The touring cast features James Bye (EastEnders, 2:22 A Ghost Story) as James, Hannah Sinclair Robinson (The Play That Goes Wrong) as Lou, Jo Castleton (War Horse) as Etheline Cotgrave, and Caroline Faber (Network) as Carolanne.
The creative team includes set and costume designer Fly Davis, lighting designer Anna Watson, sound designer Gareth Fry, video designer Luke Halls, and illusion designer Chris Fisher. Casting direction is led by Ginny Schiller CDG. The stage production is produced by Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska for Melting Pot, in association with Leeds Playhouse and Paramount Location-Based Entertainment & Experiences.
The tour is currently visiting Glasgow's Theatre Royal before traveling to York, Woking, Cheltenham, Canterbury, Birmingham, Norwich, Salford, Brighton, Bath, and Leeds. In 2027, the production will make stops in Southampton, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Nottingham, Aberdeen, Plymouth, Liverpool, Dublin, and Cork, concluding at Leicester's Curve Theatre in June 2027.
