Hamilton is set to welcome a major star to the London stage as rehearsal images offer a first glimpse of Leslie Odom, Jr.’s highly anticipated West End debut. The acclaimed performer will reprise his Tony and Grammy Award-winning role as Aaron Burr at the Victoria Palace Theatre, starting his strictly limited run on Friday 3 July 2026.
The original Broadway star is scheduled to appear in all performances from his opening night through to Saturday 5 September 2026. Theatergoers should note that his performance schedule excludes Monday 27 July, Tuesday 28 July, and Wednesday 29 July. Audiences have a rare opportunity to witness a definitive performance that helped shape a global theatrical phenomenon.
Odom, Jr. joins a celebrated London company currently led by Stephenson Ardern-Sodje in the title role of Alexander Hamilton. The principal cast also features Georgina Onuorah as Angelica Schuyler, Bente Mulan as Eliza Hamilton, Akmed Junior Khemalai as George Washington, and Yeukayi Ushe, who typically performs the role of Aaron Burr.
The production further stars Ashley J. Daniels as Marquis De Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Bellinfantie as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, Shak Mancel James as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton, Jasmine Jia Yung Shen as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, and Daniel Boys as King George III.
