Family-friendly undead chaos with ZomBeebies in the afternoon, followed by full-throttle late-night improv horror in Improv The Dead.
Improv The Dead will return to Bridewell Theatre, 14 Bride Lane, London EC4Y 8EQ, on Saturday 15 August as part of Camden Fringe 2026, presenting two performances in one day: ZomBeebies at 3.00pm (ages 8+) and Improv The Dead at 8.00pm (ages 15+). The festival runs from 3 to 30 August 2026, and the production is listed as part of the official programme.

Returning for its fourth year at Camden Fringe, Improv The Dead transforms audience suggestions into a “lost” zombie film performed live on stage. Each show is created in the moment, combining survival drama, comic horror, fake blood and fast-paced improvisation so that no two performances are ever the same.
Like any cult favourite, this improvised “film” comes with bonus features. At any moment, the action can freeze to reveal deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes interviews and unexpected extra moments inspired by the audience, adding another layer of chaos to the performance.
The afternoon performance, ZomBeebies, offers a stand-alone family-friendly version of the format for audiences aged 8 and above. Presented as a lively choose-your-own-adventure experience, it keeps the zombie fun while leaning into big characters, playful suspense and interactive storytelling.
The company’s performers bring experience from Hoopla, The Free Association and Duck Duck Goose, creating a style that blends sharp improvisation with theatrical silliness and gleeful on-stage mayhem. Over several festival runs, Improv The Dead has built a reputation for turning horror clichés into crowd-pleasing comedy.
