In a move that defies both logic and superstition, the producers of The Play That Goes Wrong have chosen the 13th hour of the day to announce the 13th new cast for their West End residency, tickets below. On Wednesday, 15 April 2026, Kenny Wax and Stage Presence nervously revealed the fresh faces set to join the mayhem at the Duchess Theatre, sparking the question: what could possibly go wrong?

While the fictional Cornley Drama Society continues to struggle with collapsing sets and forgotten lines, the production itself is celebrating a massive milestone. Mischief’s Olivier and Tony Award-winning smash hit recently welcomed its 2 millionth visitor in the West End. Now in its 12th year, the show remains a juggernaut of British comedy, proving that audiences never tire of watching things fall apart.

Starting Tuesday, 2 June, a new troupe of actors will attempt to navigate the technical disasters of the Duchess Theatre. The new cast includes:

Ruby Ablett as Annie
Matthew Spencer as Chris
Raphael Bushay as Robert
Luke Wilson as Jonathan
Lucinda Turner as Sandra
Alex Bird as Dennis
Joshua Lendon as Max
Kieron Michael as Trevor

Rounding out the company are understudies Paige Round, Harry Al-Adwani, Tom Quinn, Will Bishop, and Phoenix Edwards. Additionally, Winston the dog is slated to return as Winston the dog—provided, of course, that he can be found.

Booking Extended to 2027

The Cornley Drama Society has famously vowed to keep performing until they get the production 100% right. Given their track record, producers have confidently extended the booking period until Sunday, 3 October 2027.

From its humble beginnings at The Old Red Lion Theatre—where they once performed for a mere four paying customers—to becoming a global phenomenon, the success of The Play That Goes Wrong is a testament to the Mischief company's tenacity. Whether you are a first-time visitor or returning for the hundredth time, the disaster awaits.
