The National Theatre’s latest powerhouse production is officially crossing the Atlantic. Today, producers confirmed that Suzie Miller’s critically acclaimed play, Inter Alia, will transfer to Broadway this autumn for a strictly limited engagement at the Music Box Theatre.
Reprising her riveting role as Jessica Parks, Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Rosamund Pike will make her long-awaited Broadway debut. The production, directed by BAFTA winner Justin Martin, is scheduled to run from 10 November 2026 through 21 February 2027, with an official opening night set for 1 December.
A Searing Modern Legal Drama
The title Inter Alia—Latin for "among other things"—serves as the backdrop for the story of Jessica Parks, a maverick London Crown Court Judge. Driven by a desire to reform a flawed legal system, Parks finds herself navigating the complex intersection of motherhood, career, and the shifting dynamics of modern masculinity.
The play arrives in New York with significant momentum. Following its premiere at the National Theatre’s Lyttelton theatre in 2025, it has been seen by over 450,000 people worldwide via National Theatre Live and is currently enjoying a sold-out run in London’s West End. Pike’s performance has already earned her the 2026 Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress and a current Olivier Award nomination.
The Creative Force
The production reunites the formidable duo behind the international sensation Prima Facie: playwright Suzie Miller and director Justin Martin. "Suzie Miller has an indelible way of putting women’s experiences on stage in a way that touches, excites, moves, and blindsides," Pike shared. "I am thrilled and humbled to make my Broadway debut with this role."
