Underbelly Boulevard Soho has officially announced its Summer 2026 programming, promising a high-octane season of "big voices, bold stories, and comedy with bite." As one of London’s most eclectic venues, the Soho stage continues its streak of bringing five-star Edinburgh Fringe hits and Broadway royalty to the heart of the West End.
Broadway Royalty and West End Stars
Headlining the season is Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti, who returns from 14–26 July with her critically acclaimed show, Nobody Cares. Following a successful "Fringe Fix" run in 2025, Benanti’s New York Times Critic’s Pick offers a "hilarious, heartfelt, and unflinchingly honest" exploration of aging and the absurdity of people-pleasing.
The season kicks off on 29 May with the first-ever Call To Stage Live Residency. Curated by Amber Davies, the residency features West End star Georgina Castle (Mean Girls, 50 First Dates). This intimate evening of music and conversation is designed to bridge the gap between performer and fan, featuring a live Q&A in a setting where "no seat feels far from the stage."
From Sea Shanties to Magic
The schedule is packed with diverse transfers due to popular demand:
Shantify (2–14 June): A nautical musical adventure where West End performers transform pop bangers and show tunes into rousing sea shanties.
James Phelan: SHOWMAN (16–28 June): The magician famous for jamming the BBC switchboard brings his London premiere to Soho, promising to make "the impossible possible."
Jess Robinson: Elton Reimagined (1–5 July): Multi-award-winning impressionist Jess Robinson breathes new life into Elton John’s hits through the voices of icons like Britney, Barbra, and Amy.
Closing the Season
The summer concludes with the high-energy Frisky's Remix Roulette (28–30 July) and the moving one-man play The Ghost of White Hart Lane (31 July – 2 August). The latter tells the poignant story of Tottenham Hotspur legend John White, exploring grief and male mental health sixty years after his untimely passing.
