As the vibrant energy of spring arrives in London, the producers of Hadestown have unveiled stunning new production photography to celebrate the debut of an exciting new cast. Now entering its third acclaimed year at the Lyric Theatre, the genre-defying musical continues to captivate audiences with its soulful blend of indie folk, blues, and New Orleans jazz. Tickets available below.
The new company features a mix of stage veterans and rising screen stars, breathing fresh life into Anais Mitchell’s Tony® and Grammy®-winning score:
Marley Fenton as Orpheus: Fresh from his 2024 Black British Theatre Award win and a starring turn as Alexander Hamilton, Fenton brings a youthful, defiant hope to the role of the visionary dreamer.
Bethany Antonia as Eurydice: Known to global audiences as Princess Baela Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, Antonia makes a highly anticipated transition to the West End stage.
Rachel Adedeji as Persephone: The X Factor finalist and Hollyoaks alumna brings her extensive stage experience (Thriller Live!, Jesus Christ Superstar) to the role of the Lady of the Underground.
Alastair Parker as Hades: A National Theatre and RSC veteran, Parker provides the formidable presence required for the King of the Underworld.
Clive Rowe as Hermes: The Olivier Award-winning actor and beloved Hackney Empire stalwart steps into the role of the silver-tongued guide, leading the audience through the mythic landscape.
Directed by Rachel Chavkin, Hadestown intertwines the dual myths of Orpheus and Eurydice alongside King Hades and Persephone. It is a journey that explores the struggle between industry and nature, doubt and faith, and the enduring power of love.
The production remains a technical marvel, supported by the original award-winning creative team, including choreographer David Neumann and scenic designer Rachel Hauck.
Hadestown is currently booking at the Lyric Theatre through to Sunday 13 December 2026. Buy tickets securely below.
