Björn Ulvaeus’ acclaimed theatrical dining experience, Mamma Mia! The Party, has announced a major star-power injection for its London production. 90s pop sensation Peter Andre and X Factor winner Sam Bailey are set to join the cast at Nikos’ Taverna starting 14 May 2026.

Peter Andre, the global media star behind hits like "Mysterious Girl" and "Flava," will take on the role of Nikos, the charismatic taverna owner. For Andre, the role is a natural fit. "I am ecstatic to be joining the cast as Nikos—a character I feel very connected to, especially through my Greek heritage," he shared. Andre brings a wealth of stage experience to the production, having previously starred in Grease: The Musical and Thriller. His run is strictly limited, appearing at selected performances only until 23 July 2026.

Joining alongside Andre is Sam Bailey, who captured the nation's heart during the 2013 season of The X Factor. Bailey will step into the role of Debbie on 14 May and is scheduled to remain with the production until 4 April 2027. Since her chart-topping debut with "Skyscraper," Bailey has built a formidable musical theatre resume, including roles in Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Located at The O2, Mamma Mia! The Party has become London’s premier immersive experience. Since its 2019 opening, it has welcomed over 700,000 guests from 110 countries across more than 1,500 performances. The evening transports diners to the island of Skopelos for a four-course Greek feast, a heartwarming story, and a glittering disco featuring ABBA’s timeless anthems like "Dancing Queen" and "Waterloo."

Sophie Arendt, Managing Director for Pophouse Entertainment, noted that the addition of Andre and Bailey comes at a pivotal time as the show looks toward global expansion. With the London run now booking through April 2027, the taverna remains the ultimate destination for fans of ABBA and world-class entertainment.
