The Marylebone Theatre has announced the full casting for its upcoming production of Arthur Miller’s searing family drama, The Price. Directed by Olivier Award-nominated Jonathan Munby, the play is set to run from Friday 17 April to Sunday 7 June 2026, promising a powerful exploration of the hidden costs of our life choices.

Leading the company is double Olivier Award-winner Henry Goodman (Yes, Prime Minister, The Merchant of Venice), who stars as the life-enhancing Gregory Solomon. Goodman, a titan of the British stage, expressed his excitement for the role: “Arthur Miller has an extraordinary ability to illuminate the private lives of families with honesty and humanity. The Price is a play I’ve long admired, so to play the life-enhancing Gregory Solomon is a gift.”

The production boasts a formidable supporting cast. Elliot Cowan (Peaky Blinders, Lost in Austen) and John Hopkins (Poldark, Midsomer Murders) star as the estranged brothers Victor and Walter Franz, whose reunion in a cluttered New York attic sparks a fierce emotional reckoning. Joining them is Faye Castelow (Leopoldstadt, The Critic) as Esther Franz.

The drama unfolds on the eve of selling their late father’s estate, where decades of resentment, sacrifice, and buried truths erupt into the open. By turns darkly funny and devastatingly human, Miller’s play is a gripping portrait of family where memory and regret collide.

Director Jonathan Munby, known for his acclaimed work on King Lear and The Merchant of Venice, brings together a top-tier creative team, including designer Jon Bausor and sound designer Max Pappenheim. Goodman added, “I’m thrilled to be returning to [Miller's] work with Jonathan Munby at the Marylebone Theatre.”

With a cast that has collectively graced the West End, Broadway, and major television hits like The Crown and The Regime, The Price is positioned as a must-see theatrical event of the spring season.
