A powerhouse cast of chart-topping vocalists and boyband stars is set to descend on London this spring as the hit pop-rock musical World’s Greatest Lover makes its highly anticipated capital debut. Following an award-winning run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a successful New York debut, the production will open at The Other Palace on April 12, running through June 7, 2026.

A Star-Studded Showdown

Leading the company are two of The X Factor’s most celebrated winners: Matt Terry and Dalton Harris. Terry, a platinum-selling songwriter with over a billion streams to his name, stars as "CDB," while Harris, known for his powerhouse vocals and UK number-one hits, takes on the role of "Val." Joining them is Jaymi Hensley of Union J fame as "Sade," and West End favorite Joaquin Pedro Valdes (formerly of the boyband 17:28) as "Romeo." The cast is rounded out by Leonardo Vieira as "Caz" and Alex Hayden.

High-Energy Creativity

The production brings together a heavy-hitting creative team led by Director and Choreographer Joshua Bergasse, the Emmy Award winner behind the choreography for the hit TV series Smash. The set is designed by Tony winner Beowulf Boritt (Come From Away), with lighting by Tony winner Jason Lyons. The show features a "pop-powered" score by the award-winning writing duo Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, whose recent work includes Luxembourg’s 2025 Eurovision entry.

Romance Reimagined

World’s Greatest Lover is a witty, irreverent battle of the sexes and egos. The plot sees history’s most iconic romantics—including Romeo, Casanova, Cyrano de Bergerac, and the Marquis de Sade—collide in a high-stakes competition to discover what it truly means to be the "greatest lover of all time."

Producers Marc Routh and Simone Genatt describe the show as a "wildly entertaining showdown" fueled by "sizzling choreography" and a score that echoes the best of modern boyband pop. Tickets are available now starting from £15, offering a seductive and hilarious night of theater that explores love, desire, and identity.
