Musical theatre fans are about to get a front-row seat to the industry’s most candid conversations. Performer and broadcaster Henry Patterson has announced the launch of House Seats, a new monthly musical talk show debuting at the iconic Crazy Coqs on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
A Theatrical Twist on the Talk Show
Reimagining the traditional chat-show format through a theatrical lens, House Seats is described as a cross between the spontaneous warmth of The Graham Norton Show and the reflective depth of Desert Island Discs. Each evening features an in-depth interview with a West End star, live musical performances, and an exclusive onstage duet between the guest and Patterson himself.
“I think a format like that dedicated to the extraordinary lives of musical theatre performers is long overdue,” says Patterson. “From onstage mishaps to career highlights, every actor has an abundance of personal stories that rarely get a chance in the spotlight.”
A Star-Studded Debut
The inaugural show features Olivier Award nominee Ian McIntosh, known for his powerful turns in Les Misérables and Jesus Christ Superstar. McIntosh will reflect on his journey across the world’s biggest stages, offering an unfiltered look at the creative life of a West End leading man. The evening will be underscored by pianist Leigh Stanford Thompson, providing a cinematic backdrop to the storytelling.
Patterson, who first gained fame as a child entrepreneur before transitioning into a viral musical parodist and concert performer, brings his signature wit and jazz-infused style to the role of host. Having sold out venues in London and New York, his move into the talk-show space marks an exciting new chapter for the performer.
