This Easter, the magic of the toyshop comes to life in London’s West End as Perform Productions announces a strictly limited run of their new family adventure, Midnight in the Toyshop. Taking over the historic St Martin’s Theatre—the legendary home of The Mousetrap—this enchanting mini-musical will delight audiences from Tuesday 7 to Sunday 12 April 2026.
Following the sell-out success of Magical Merlin and Jungle Rumble, Perform Productions brings a fresh, heart-warming tale to the stage that pits traditional imagination against the digital age. The story follows a band of beloved toys who spring to life at the stroke of midnight, only to discover their home is under threat. Tech entrepreneur Peyton Pixel plans to demolish the shop to make way for a cold, clinical AI experience centre.
To save their home, an unlikely trio must prove that real children still crave real toys. Led by the feisty Belle Ballerina, the high-octane Rebel Racer, and the endearingly cake-obsessed Grumble the Dinosaur, the toys embark on an epic quest to show that the magic of true friendship can never be replaced by technology.

Designed specifically for children aged three and above, the show is packed with catchy songs, dazzling choreography, and vibrant storytelling. With a snappy 60-minute running time and no interval, it is perfectly paced for younger theatergoers.
