National Theatre at Home is set to warm up the winter months with a powerful line-up of theatrical releases, confirming that James Corden's smash-hit comedy, One Man, Two Guvnors, will return to the platform in January 2026. This announcement follows the reveal of streaming dates for new National Theatre Director Indhu Rubasingham's inaugural production, Bacchae, and the drama The Land of the Living, starring Juliet Stevenson.

One Man, Two Guvnors, Richard Bean’s celebrated English adaptation of The Servant of Two Masters, was captured live during its 2011 premiere run. The production, directed by Nicholas Hytner, catapulted Corden to international fame, earning him a Tony Award for Best Actor in 2012. It holds special significance for NT at Home, having launched the National Theatre’s free weekly streams that entertained over 2 million people during the 2020 lockdown, an initiative which directly led to the creation of the current streaming platform. The critically acclaimed comedy will be available for global streaming exclusively on National Theatre at Home from 13 January 2026.

Following this, audiences can look forward to Rubasingham’s thrilling new version of Euripides’ Bacchae, captured live from the Olivier Stage this year. Available from 6 February 2026, this production, starring Nima Taleghani, pulses with music, rhythm, and movement, offering a visceral and bold take on the timeless tragedy.

Ahead of the New Year, Juliet Stevenson's The Land of the Living, a poignant drama exploring the long-term emotional fallout of wartime decisions, will release on 16 December 2025. These latest additions join previously announced titles GOOD (25 November) and Next to Normal (2 December), completing a jam-packed schedule.

National Theatre at Home, which launched in 2020 and is sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies, now features over 100 productions, with subscriptions available for £9.99 a month. All announced shows include captions, and all will be available with Audio Description.
