ROARRR Theatre's acclaimed children's show, Here Comes Gudong, is set for a special one-day run at the Lyric Hammersmith on October 4, 2025. This interactive and eco-conscious production, inspired by a beloved Chinese folk tale, has already garnered significant attention, winning "Best Family Show" at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Here Comes Gudong invites children on an adventure into the forest to discover the source of a mysterious "Gudong" sound. The show blends puppetry, video, and Chinese shadow techniques to create a vibrant theatrical fusion where Eastern and Western folklore meet.

The show is designed for children aged 4 and up and runs for 45 minutes, with two performances scheduled at 11am and 1pm. Tickets are available for £10 and can be booked by contacting info@roarrrtheatre.com. The venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

The creative team behind the production includes writer, director, and producer Portia Yuran Li, movement director Mingyu Ding, and production designer Effie Gu. The cast and puppeteers are Mary Emma He, Aidan Harris, Marian Lee, and Mingyu Ding.

With its focus on environmental themes and a blend of cultural storytelling, Here Comes Gudong promises to be a magical and engaging experience for young audiences.
