Get ready to raise a glass and tap your feet! The Arts Theatre, home to the Olivier-nominated international stage sensation The Choir of Man, is thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new "Happy Hour" experience, running throughout the summer. Starting Thursday, July 24th, and continuing for four weeks, theatre-goers and music lovers alike can enjoy 20% off drinks at the bar, accompanied by live music performances from members of The Choir of Man West End company and other special guests.
This exciting new initiative transforms the theatre's foyer into a vibrant pre-show hub from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, offering audiences a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the spirit of the show even before the curtain rises. Kicking off the inaugural Happy Hour on July 24th will be Rob Godfrey, who embodies the role of 'Beast' in the production, treating attendees to an intimate acoustic guitar set. The following week, on July 31st, the Happy Hour will feature a special collaboration with "The Room Where It Happens," London's beloved musical theatre bar, promising an evening of unique delights. Further exciting acts are set to be announced via the show's social media channels.
Nic Doodson, on behalf of the producers, expressed his enthusiasm: "We're thrilled to offer this new Happy Hour experience for our audiences at the Arts. It's a great way to connect, enjoy a drink, and enjoy some live music before the show starts. We’re looking forward to sharing more summer evenings of music, joy, and community in the heart of the West End."
The Choir of Man invites audiences into "THE JUNGLE," the best pub in the world, where nine charismatic performers blend beautiful harmonies, foot-stomping singalongs, and impressive tap dance with poignant reflections on the power of community. Boasting a hit-packed playlist from artists like Queen, Adele, and Guns N’ Roses, this 90-minute, feel-good celebration of friendship and camaraderie even includes free beer for its patrons. Since its West End debut at the Arts Theatre in October 2021, The Choir of Man has captivated over 280,000 audience members across more than 1,000 performances, continually selling out shows and fostering a loyal following.
