Choreographer and Director Eleanor Wilson brings an exhilarating dance production to the Camden Fringe this summer with the story of The Forty Elephants. Displaying a range of Contemporary and Jazz dance techniques and a gripping narrative, the piece is showing at Theatro Technis on 4th and 5th August.
Set to an original score [Jack Blakey] and Lighting from acclaimed Designer [Daniel Taylor], The Forty Elephants resurrects the legend of the all-female crime syndicate that ran riot through 20th century London. Exploring themes of sisterhood, defiance, violence, and forbidden love, the production promises to deliver a powerful and unforgettable experience.
"They [The Forty Elephants] weren’t just petty criminals, they were intelligent and innovative women, developing cunning methods of deception," says Wilson. "This is an extremely demanding and technically impressive piece of dance theatre. The physicality of the movement demonstrates the stealth, power and drive of these women.”
Don’t miss your chance to witness this exciting and unique production! Tickets are now available at the Theatro Technis and Camden Fringe websites.
