Following the recent fervor of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, an exciting announcement has just dropped: the beloved Netflix motion picture, "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga," is officially being developed into a new stage musical! The musical will feature a book penned by the film's original co-writer Will Ferrell, alongside Harper Steele and Anthony King. Music will be crafted by Savan Kotecha, renowned for his work on pop hits and the Academy Award-nominated "Husavik (My Hometown)" from the film. Taking the directorial reins is Alex Timbers, a Tony Award-winning director known for his innovative and visually spectacular productions.
