Producers Colin Ingram, alongside original film creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, are delighted to announce that beloved stage and screen star Brian Conley will step into the iconic role of Doctor Emmett Brown in BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre. Conley's highly anticipated run will be for a strictly limited 12-week engagement, beginning Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, and concluding Monday, November 3rd, 2025.

Brian Conley, a veteran of numerous West End productions including 9 to 5 The Musical and Hairspray, expressed his excitement: "Great Scott! I'm absolutely thrilled to be stepping into the DeLorean as Doc Brown – it’s a gift of a part in such an iconic musical. It’s pure, high-voltage fun, and I can't wait to bring my own spark to the mad genius!” Conley’s extensive career also spans hit TV shows like The Brian Conley Show and his recent role in EastEnders.

Following Conley's limited engagement, Cory English will return to the role of Doctor Emmett Brown from Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. The current cast features Caden Brauch as Marty McFly, alongside Sarah Goggin, Orlando Gibbs, C.J. Borger, Alex Runicles, Talia Palamathanan, and a talented ensemble that has captivated audiences.

The critically acclaimed musical, which has garnered Olivier, WhatsOnStage, and Broadway World awards for Best New Musical, is now in its fourth year in London. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the original beloved film, released on July 3rd, 1985.
