The highly anticipated world premiere of "13 GOING ON 30 - THE MUSICAL" is set to dazzle audiences at the Manchester Opera House from September 21, 2025, for a limited season. Producers ROYO, Revolution Studios, Wendy Federman, Phil Kenny, and executive producer Jennifer Garner are thrilled to announce that West End luminaries David Hunter and Grace Mouat will star as Matt Flamhaff and Lucy Wyman, respectively.

David Hunter, celebrated for his leading roles in West End hits like Kinky Boots, Waitress (for which he received a Best Performer nomination), and Once, brings a wealth of experience to the production. He originated the role of Henry in The Time Traveller’s Wife The Musical and can be heard on its Original Cast Recording.

Grace Mouat, a fan favourite from West End productions including SIX, & Juliet, and The Great British Bake-Off Musical, will undoubtedly bring her acclaimed talent to the stage. This year, she earned a WhatsOnStage Award nomination for Best Supporting Performer for her role as Karen in Mean Girls.

They join the previously announced Lucie Jones as Jenna Rink, alongside a stellar cast including Caleb Roberts (Richard), Andrew Berlin (Kyle Grandy), Dominic Andersen (Alex), Ross Dawes (Wayne), Suzie McAdam (Bev), and Iván Fernández Gonzáles (Darius Mark). The ensemble is completed by a talented lineup of West End and touring performers, ensuring a vibrant and dynamic production. A large cast of promising child actors has also been announced, adding further depth to the show.

Based on the beloved 2004 rom-com starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, "13 GOING ON 30 - THE MUSICAL" tells the charming story of Jenna Rink, an awkward 13-year-old who magically wakes up as a "thirty, flirty and thriving" fashion magazine editor. As she unravels the mystery of her new life, Jenna embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning what truly matters.

With songs by Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary (known for First Date and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and directed by the award-winning Andy Fickman (Heathers), this musical adaptation promises to capture the heart and humor of the original film. Choreography by Jennifer Weber (& Juliet), set design by Colin Richmond, and a top-tier creative team complete this exciting new production.

Don't miss the chance to experience the world premiere of "13 GOING ON 30 - THE MUSICAL" at the Manchester Opera House from September 21st to October 12th, 2025.
