The award-winning musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert will embark on a UK and Ireland tour in 2026. The production, based on the Oscar-winning film, will open at the Palace Theatre in Manchester in February before travelling to major cities across the country.

The tour will visit Glasgow, Liverpool, Southampton, Birmingham, Norwich, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Nottingham, Aylesbury, Woking, Canterbury, Belfast, Dublin, Brighton, Leicester, Bradford, and Truro. The production follows three drag performers—Tick, Bernadette, and Adam—on a journey of self-discovery across the Australian outback in their iconic bus, Priscilla.

The show features extravagant costumes, high-energy dance numbers, and a soundtrack packed with disco anthems, including It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff, and Go West. The production is directed by Ian Talbot, with choreography by Matt Cole (Newsies) and set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter. Further casting and creative details will be announced in due course.

Produced by Mark Goucher (Hairspray, The Full Monty, Shrek), Priscilla Queen of the Desert has previously enjoyed successful runs in the West End, on Broadway, and in multiple UK and international tours.
