‘The Golden Days’ is an exciting and ambitious original musical set in a 1960s jazz club in London.

As you step into a fully immersive 1960s jazz club, you will join a man named Earl, reflecting on the days of his youth, when he was pursuing his dream of becoming a jazz singer at 'The Dan Donner Club'. With brand new songs, dance and lots of laughs, seeing ‘The Golden Days’ will be an unforgettable experience for the whole family!

Claire Moore
Claire Moore is a renowned West End singer and actress. She was cast as the alternate Christine Daaé in the original cast of The Phantom of the Opera, taking on the role full-time after a year. Claire originated the role of Ellen in
the original West End cast of Miss Saigon and has played both Fantine and Madame Thenardier in the West End production of Les Misérables. Claire also originated the role of Chris in the Calendar Girls musical, for which she was
nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress. Claire worked as a vocal coach on the BBC TV talent shows I’d Do Anything and Over the Rainbow.

Outside of musical theatre, Claire has appeared in numerous National Theatre productions including The Duchess of Malfi, The Critic, and London Road. Recently, Claire starred in the world premiere of the Great British Bake Off the Musical.

We are delighted to have Claire joining us for our project. Show creator Chris Burrett has written a new set of original songs for Claire to perform. Claire will be performing for all3 shows as part of the pre-show, which begins at 7pm. She will also return to entertain you all in the interval.

Mark Armstrong
We are delighted to announce that jazz trumpeter Mark Armstrong will be joining our show!

Mark Armstrong is a distinguished jazz trumpeter and composer. Having studied both at the University of
Oxford and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Mark is the Jazz Professor at the Royal College of Music in
London, directing both the RCM Swing Band and the RCM Big Band. Mark is also the Artistic and Music Director of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Mark is a member of the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra and Clark Tracey’s Quintet and has performed in a variety of settings from the London Sinfonietta to The Four Tops and on film and TV soundtracks. Mark is also a composer and arranger, ranging from choral and chamber music to jazz and symphony orchestra, and his works have been performed by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Royal Society Jazz
Orchestra.
