From October 17, audiences worldwide can stream London Tide, the thrilling new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ final novel Our Mutual Friend, on National Theatre at Home, the National Theatre’s pioneering streaming platform. Directed by Ian Rickson (Translations) and adapted by Ben Power (The Lehman Trilogy), with ‘spine-tingling’ (???? Time Out) original songs by PJ Harvey and Ben Power, the production was filmed live from the Lyttelton Theatre earlier this year.

Coinciding with the streaming release on 17 October, Broadway Records is set to release the world premiere recording of London Tide. The full digital album features 13 original songs crafted by PJ Harvey and Ben Power, along with Music Director Ian Ross, and recorded by the cast of the production. From 20 September, audiences can listen to the single “Holloway” performed by Bella Maclean (Rivals, Sex Education) on all music streaming platforms.

A romantic and propulsive thriller, London Tide is a hymn to the city and the river that runs through it. A storm rages and, in the darkest part of the night, a body is pulled from the swirling river. Across the city, two young women confront an uncertain future.
